There never was a kinder, gentler soul,
Whose love and grace made us whole.
Julie Beth Spector-Sprague of San Francisco, California, age 40, left us after a brief illness. She was surrounded by family and friends. Julie Beth was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia and educated at The Rambam Day School and The Savannah Country Day School, where she met her soulmate and future husband Bill Sprague. Julie graduated Brown University with dual degrees of bachelor of arts in religious studies and a bachelor of science in chemistry with honors. She then earned her master's degree in chemistry at Stanford University, followed by a master's degree in higher mathematics from Waterloo University. Julie was truly a renaissance woman. A loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, a gifted artist and an amazing cook. She was an educator whose dedication and love for teaching at The Bay School of San Francisco left her walls adorned with countless letters of gratitude and praise from her students. The world was a better place with Julie in it, and she will be terribly missed
. Julie Beth is survived by her husband, William Winner Sprague, her parents Lynne and Frederic Spector of Savannah, GA, and her sister Lisa Spector Miller (Mason) and her adoring niece and nephew Charlotte and Hunter Miller of Austin, TX.
